The Society Welcomes:Tristan Oliver
The British cinematographer Tristan Oliver will be speaking at the TDC TV & Film Society. He is best known for his work on stop-motion animated films including Fantastic Mr Fox, Isle of Dogs, Wallace and Gromit, Loving Vincent and Chicken Run. The talk will be followed by a Q&A.

THE IRISHMAN
Take a break from your studies and join us for an evening at the Irish Film Institute to see Martin Scorsese's new film The Irishman.
This film adaptation of Charles Brandt’s chronicle of the life and professions of alleged mafia hitman Frank “The Irishman” Sheeran reunites director Martin Scorsese with previous collaborators including Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci, Harvey Keitel, and writer Steven Zaillian, and also features Al Pacino in his first role for the director.

​Do you consider yourself the next James Cameron? Are you bursting with cinematic ideas that you can't wait to share with the world? Have you had your Oscar acceptance speech planned out for years?
If so, enter our annual screenplay writing competition!
Things to know:

Submission must be an original screenplay, between 5,000 and 16,000 words

Screenplays are accepted via our submission portal
